Life’s Little Necessities

January 21, 2006

Ok so my microwave went caput about three weeks ago. I have been meaning to replace it but haven’t found the time. This past week I really didn’t need the thing since my sinuses and allergies were making me hella sick I was only eating Chicken Noodle soup, which I always fix in a pot on the stove; there is no reason why I do this but I do, habit I guess, or not eating at all. Well this week, more like Thursday, after a taking some meds that were prescribed by my physician, I felt better and hungry. I check out the fridge and all I had was lean cuisine dinners. “Oh Snap” (like the board breaking on yahoo messenger) my microwave is broken. I just boiled me two eggs and went to bed. Well last I bought some shrimp with vegetable from the Chinese restaurant and couldn’t finish it so I put the leftovers in fridge to be enjoyed later. Tonight I went to get my leftover and like the board “Oh Snap!!!” the dang microwave is still broken and I haven’t replaced it. I put the foil container in the oven and that took forever (30 or 40 minutes). I really need to get a new microwave soon. Wally world (my friend’s nickname for Wal-Mart) here I come.

  1. Three weeks!!! You’re better than me, I would have gotten a new microwave the next day. I always make enough food to have leftovers to pop in the microwave the next night. I hate reheating food on the stove, dirtying up clean pots for old food. But that’s just me. :) LOL

I haven’t really needed the thing until yesterday, with my sinus and alergy problems I’ve been having. I’ve been eating at my mom’s place anyway.
