My Thoughts

I figured since I haven’t been updating this blog on the regular I would start off with a MEME so here goes:
It was all so simple then
College: Texas Southern University

1.) Where did you get late-night food?
Wataburger, IHOP, The BBQ Truck parked outside the club, Denny’s

2.) What was the worst class you ever had?
Networking, my Professor wore two hearing aides and repeated his words a lot.

3.) What was the best class you ever had?
African American Literature

4.) Who was your favorite instructor?
I really didn’t have one.

5.) Who was your least favorite instructor?
Dr.Criner, his negativity was a real downer.

6.) Favorite college bar?
Really didn’t go to bars I did most of my drinking with my roommates in our townhouse.

7.) Best sporting event attended?
Homecomings (they got better after I graduated)

8.) Best concert attended?
While I was in College it was Heavy D and the Boys with LL Cool J’s fine azz!!!

9.) The best time to have a class?
9am.

10.) Favorite drink?
In college it was Bacardi Light Rum with Sprite.

11.) What was your first dorm room?
Smith Tower at Sam Houston State, I can’t remember the room number

12.) First roommate?
Didn’t have one for the first semester.

13.) The funniest nickname for a person in college?
Puggy. My suite –mate’s Eloria’s boyfriend’s nickname.

14.) Craziest friend?
Hell all my friends were crazy.

15.) Books . . . Buy? Borrow? or not Buy?
Buy

16.) How many parking tickets?
Two. Speaking of which I better pay it.

17.) Favorite cafeteria food?
Baked Fish Almondine at Luby’s.

Eloria

19.) Nationalities of instructors and TA’s?
At Sam Houston they were Caucasian or Middle Eastern. At Texas Southern they were African-American or African.

20.) Ever take a cinema class?
NO

21.) Phys Ed Classes taken?
Bowling and in my senior year Physical Fitness (Big mistake)

Nope

24.) First friend on the first day freshman year?
My cousin Nita Mouton, who I had never met until I moved into Sam Houston State.

Bearkat at Sam Houston, and Tiger at Texas Southern

26.) Favorite recreational sport (Besides beer pong)?
I didn’t play sports recreational or otherwise.

27.) Favorite place to live?
I’ve only lived in Houston.

Dallas and Baton Rouge.

No. I had long since graduated.

N/a. didn’t take the shuttle much

The movies at Student Center

Yeah.

Didn’t work on Campus.

Yes I did!

Yea, I know it’s been a while since I have updated my blog and all I can say is that I’ve been busy. I have finally adjusted to my work schedule and a sister has been turning in early (11pm). Some of you may say well 11pm is late but if you know me then you know that 11pm is early for me. I have a few topics on the surface; hopefully I can formulate them into a legible paragraph. So keep checking in periodically.

Yes you read it correctly I have new love. Let me tell you a little about him. First my guy is considered a bad guy to some; he’s even been banned in some places. When he first came around he was the topic of many conversations. He’s been depicted in movies and they made millions. I know that after this year he will be leaving me and I will have him no more. My guy is Harry Potter. Yes, I know I am late but I have caught the Harry Potter bug.

Recently I’ve been listening to Harry Potter books on my IPOD. I’ve seen all the movies and while they did capture a lot of the books ambiance they didn’t and couldn’t capture it all. I can’t see what all the controversy is all about, J. K Rowlings has an awesome imagination, and that is all Harry Potter is to me, make believe. Book 7, the last and final book, will be release around July of this year and I might be one of those folks waiting in line at 12midnight to get a copy.
