Hodge Podge

April 12, 2007

Ok so I know I have been away from blogging for a while but now I am back. There is so much to talk about where I should start. I’ll start with these Caucasian folks losing their mind. First we have Michael Richards calling Black folks niggers and telling them about how if it was back in the day his people would have them (Black folks) strung up with a pitch fork in their back, all because he was being heckled at a comedy show. If his ass was a real comedian then he would have turned those heckles around and made jokes not racial tirades. Then of course he does what is the common thing in Hollywood, he goes on TV to apologize and then blame his racism on drugs or booze or both. Typical. Not long after this incident occurred, I don’t even know if this is worth mentioning, Andy Dick decided to go on a racial tirade at a comedy club some where in Texas. I whole- heartily believe that he was doing that to gain attention because his career, if you could call it that, is null and void. His career is dead that his tirade only got mentioned briefly is a news story. He blamed on the booze.

Just when we thought all racial mess was over, the demon reared its ugly head. Don Imus stuck both of his feet, plus is co hosts feet in mouth by spewing some very nasty, unflattering insults at some black female basketball players. Now everyone is debating whether or not he should be fired. What he said and why he said has been debated and discussed on radio talk shows throughput the country. While I think Mr. Imus was an idiot for what he said I don’t know if I think he should loose his job. If a black radio Dj said the same thing MR. Imus I think don’t know that I believe that Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson who be calling for him to be fired. Don’t get me wrong I believe Don Imus should be punished and fined for what he said. I don’t know that I believe he should be fired. I feel that one on in the media who says something as inappropriate and offensive what Don Imus should be punished but not fired. I wonder if Howard Stern would have said what Don Imus said would he have been fired. They both are “shock” jocks and saying inappropriate shocking things is how they make a li
